Fire destroys mobile home By Ryan Pfeil Mail Tribune Apr 30, 2019 11:58 AM A A A fire destroyed a mobile home in northwest Medford early Tuesday morning, but fire officials say no one was inside at the time. Medford Fire-Rescue crews first responded to the blaze, located at the Myra Lynne mobile home park, located in the 700 block of Nita Lynne, at 1:38 a.m., according to city emergency manager Melissa Cano. The mobile home park is located just south of the Bottle Drop Redemption Center and connects North Ross Lane to Stowe Avenue. “The (911) caller said no one was inside, and we actually know no one was injured and are trying to figure out who it belongs to,” Cano said. The first fire truck on scene found the mobile home was fully involved by flames. A total of four engines responded, with about 17 firefighters. There was initial concern that the flames could spread to neighboring homes, but that was abated quickly. “Based on how quickly the second and third engines arrived on scene, they were actually able to feel confident that they (could) wrap it pretty quickly,” Cano said. “By the time they wrapped up and actually put foam on it and such, it was probably a full 35 minutes of working on the fire.” No one was injured putting out the fire.
