Central Point video store robbed CENTRAL POINT -- A lone gunman robbed a video-rental store Sunday evening and fled on foot into the night. Central Point Police Sgt. Steve McGee said a man came into the Video Library, 788 Front St., about 9:27 p.m., displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. The robber took an undetermined amount of cash and ran out of the store, heading east on Cupp Drive. McGee said the clerk described the robber as a white male in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 11 inches, and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, Levis, and a blue baseball cap.
