Antonio Ray Diaz Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Feb. 6, 2015 @ 2:00 am Posted Feb. 6, 2015 @ 2:00 am » Social News Antonio Ray Diaz, 65, of Medford, Ore. passed away January 31, 2015. Antonio was born August 28, 1949 in San Luis, Ariz. to Margaret Gaswint and Antonio Diaz. He attended Roseburg High class of '67. Antonio served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam for three tours of duty. He moved to Medford, Ore. in 1997. He was a long-haul truck driver. Antonio enjoyed traveling, western novels, and poker. He was also a part of the Eagles Club. He is survived by his brothers, Steven, Dayton, and Timothy; his daughter, Patricia Lynn Diaz; and his three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Diaz. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery. Chaplain Joe McMahan of V.A. Chaplain Services will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans or Cancer Society.
