October 16. 2014 9:24AM "Kids & Creeks" offers fly-tying, salmon viewing A free family event boasting numerous activities encouraging recreation at local creeks is coming to Medford's Bear Creek Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. "Kids & Creeks" offers activities such as stream sampling, fly-tying and casting, salmon viewing, and salmon dissection. The event is open to everyone and sponsored by the Bear Creek Watershed Council.
