Jackson County reports 75 new COVID-19 cases By Vickie Aldous Updated: Dec 01, 2021 04:44 PM A A Jackson County reported 75 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday and one additional COVID-19-related death. Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,111 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday and 25 additional deaths. Information about those who died wasn’t immediately available. Intensive care unit beds continue to be nearly full in Jackson and Josephine counties, with only one open bed Wednesday among the four hospitals in the two counties, according to hospitalization data. Rogue Valley hospitals were caring for 44 patients with COVID-19 on Wednesday. Of those, nine were in intensive care and four were on ventilators.
