Emergency services Felony arrests Jun 07, 2003 12:00 AM A A Sexual abuse ' Michael Robert A. Compher, 20, of the first block of North Peach Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Compher on charges of first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sexual penetration, attempted first-degree rape and coercion. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Friday night on & 36;3 million bail. Forgery ' Simon Telez-Cortes, 22, of the 4500 block of Table Rock Road, Central Point. Oregon State Police arrested Telez-Cortes Friday on charges of first-degree possession of a forged instrument and being an illegal alien. He remained in jail Friday night without bail. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a blue 1999 Dodge Durango valued at & 36;13,000. Theft ' 300 block of East Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a laptop computer, two cameras and a briefcase. The items reported stolen had a total estimated value of & 36;3,400. Burglary ' 600 block of Murphy Road, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday on a burglary in which a cash box with & 36;60 was stolen from a gastroenterology office in a medical building. Arson ' Ray Lane and Ashland Street, Ashland. Ashland fire and police investigators are looking into a suspicious car fire that was reported about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Theft ' 1600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of 75 video game cartridges valued at & 36;1,300.
