Elliott signs four for SOU volleyball ASHLAND � Southern Oregon University volleyball coach Paul Elliott capped recruiting efforts for the upcoming season with the addition of four Oregon prep all-stars. Joining the Raiders will be Lindsey Aitchinson, April Lowe, Kristina Matchett and Sara Tatom. Aitchinson, a 6-foot-1 middle blocker, earned 1999 Far West Conference MVP and first-team all-state honors at Bandon High. Lowe, a 5-4 defensive specialist from Roosevelt High in Portland, was a Portland Interscholastic League all-star defender and was named the school�s 1999 female athlete of the year after serving as a top performer on the volleyball, basketball and tennis teams. Matchett was a three-time Southern Oregon Conference all-star from Klamath Union. The 5-10 middle blocker was voted KU�s MVP the past four seasons. Tatom is a 5-10 setter and valedictorian from Scio High. The OSAA and national academic award winner was a two-time Tri-River League all-star floor general and honorable mention all-state pick.
