A Medford police officer Friday arrested Sargent on a charge of third-degree assault. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Friday on $25,000 bail. Drugs — Barbara Lynn Garcia, 34, of Vallejo, Calif. A Medford police officer Friday arrested Garcia on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Friday on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Trevor Thomas Cox, 25, of the 5600 block of McLaughlin Drive, Central Point. Cox appeared Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Christopher James Dupre, 19, of the first block of South Orange Street, Medford. Dupre appeared Friday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with manufacturing marijuana and possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Jeffrey Paul Ford, 24, of the 5700 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Ford appeared Friday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Karen Diane Engman-Cavanagh, 28, of the 1100 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Engman-Cavanagh appeared Friday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of designer drugs and tampering with drug records. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance. Assault — Robert John Hann, 33, of the 200 block of M Street, Jacksonville. A Medford police officer late Thursday arrested Hann on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, strangulation and menacing. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday on $5,000 bail.
