Mary Margaret Mullen Jun 21, 2015 12:00 AM A A Mary Margaret Mullen Mary Margaret Mullen passed away peacefully June 6, 2015, at the Nevada State Veteran’s Home in Boulder City, Nev. Mary Margaret grew up in Charleston, W.V. where she started teaching ballet. She attended ballet classes at the School of American Ballet in New York City. She graduated from Gulf Park College for Women in Gulf Port, La., then moved to New York City, where she graduated from Parson’s School of Design. She worked as an editor for the Ladies' Home Journal. She met and married Brian Mullen. When they moved to Medford, she became known as a fantastic ballet teacher and an active community member. She was well known for her artistic talent which took many forms. Survivors include daughter, Peggy Tarkalson (Kevin); son, Bruce Mullen; and grandchildren, Gabrielle, Madison, Christian, and Caleb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian and a son, Bryan Hunter Mullen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nevada State Veteran’s Home/staff activities.
