Ashland Rowing Club to host four-team regatta Sep 25, 2009 12:00 AM A A The Ashland Rowing Club will hold its Much Ado About Rowing head race regatta at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Emigrant Lake. Four rowing clubs from Oregon and California will participate, with approximately 100 competitors in 12 events, from eight-person sweep boats to single scullers. Both junior and masters rowers will compete. Tryouts for Herricane Hoops will be from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at North Medford High. Girls in the fifth through eighth grades are eligible. For more information, call Kevin Dixon at 890-0219.
