Dispatchers began to receive multiple calls from neighbors beginning at 8:04 p.m., said Medford Patrol Sergeant Geoff Kirkpatrick. "This was another drive-by shooting," Kirkpatrick said Sunday night as neighbors watched police investigate the scene. He said no one had been hurt or killed by the shots that were fired in the 800 block of Narregan Street. Police are working to identify why the shots were fired and are following up on leads, Kirkpatrick said. Medford police posted on the department's Facebook page Sunday night that they are looking for a silver Toyota Camry four-door car with a dent in the rear passenger door. The vehicle was occupied by several subjects, police said. Kirkpatrick said police don't know yet whether the incident was gang-related. The shots came just days after shots were fired at an apartment complex stairwell at 1003 Narregan St. at about 7:11 p.m. Wednesday. Kirkpatrick said police don't know yet if the two incidents are related, but they could be given the close proximity in location and time between the two cases. A neighbor who did not want to be identified said police had found shell casings in his front yard from the shots fired Sunday night. He said he is saddened by the recent shooting incidents, especially since children live and play in the neighborhood. "It's sickening, you know," the neighbor said. Other neighbors said they heard several shots fired and had seen two cars leaving in opposite directions. The neighbors said they couldn't tell if the shots were aimed at vehicles or houses. Three suspects were jailed Thursday after they turned themselves in to detectives in relation to the shots fired Wednesday, police said. Alonzo Lee McBrown, 31, and Latraveon Deshawn "Trey" Wesley, 18, are each being held in the Jackson County Jail on $100,000 bail. Both are facing charges of riot and conspiracy to commit third-degree assault. A 17-year-old male is also facing charges, police said. Police continue to look for suspects Tyler Jesse Sandoval, 17, and Santiago Loveland, 18. Sandoval is believed to have fired a handgun at a group of people Wednesday night, police said. —Staff reporter Vickie Aldous can be reached at 541-776-4486 or [email protected] .
