CONTEST Tell us a spooky story MailTribune.com Writer Posted Oct. 1, 2014 @ 4:36 pm Posted Oct. 1, 2014 @ 4:36 pm » Social News The Mail Tribune has launched a writing contest dedicated to spooky storytelling. To enter the Halloween stories contest, go to www.mailtribune.com/halloweenstories by noon Tuesday, Oct. 21, and follow the directions to register. Stories should be no longer than 200 words. They can be scary, funny, fact or fiction — or a mixture of all, if you prefer. Just don't include any content that will make us blush. That includes copious amounts of gore and other over-the-top slasher-movie fare. We'll publish our three favorites in the Sunday Life section on Oct. 26. The story that garners the most votes from online readers will also be published. Direct questions to web content producer Ryan Pfeil at [email protected] .
