He was born November 16, 1927 in Bristow, Okla. to Johnny and Delma Nichols. He moved with his parents to Hawaii where he met Avis Ruth Miller, they married June 26, 1948. Ken and Avis worked together raising a family and acquiring real estate in Southern California. In July 1967, they relocated to the Rogue Valley where they started investing in real estate. Ken was well known after starting and successfully operating several radiator repair businesses throughout the years. Ken was an entrepreneur and enjoyed all aspects of real estate investing. He was always glad to share his knowledge and help anyone who came to him for advice. He is survived by his wife, Avis Ruth Nichols; three sons, Kenneth Lee Nichols Jr., Gregory Scot Nichols, and John Robin Nichols; six granddaughters, Juliet Cardinal, Erin Christensen, Andreana Fast, Krysta Bossard, Kelly Nichols, and Laura Nichols; nine great-grandchildren, Matthew Fast, Skylar Christensen, Josiah Bossard, Amelia Bossard, Kiara Fast, Faith Bossard, Sarah Christensen, Connor Fast, and Coda Christensen. The family chose not to have a service.
