Jazmine Levene Collins, 25, of the 400 block of East Dutton Road also pleaded guilty to second-degree disorderly conduct in Jackson County Circuit Court. Collins lured her boyfriend away from his home by proposing they go to a movie Jan. 16, according to an affidavit. The boyfriend told police Collins and another woman then attacked him because Collins believed he was cheating on her, the affidavit said. Collins admitted to luring the victim to the location of the attack in Central Point, slapping him, hitting him with a glass bottle and throwing eggs at him, according to Central Point police. He suffered a cut under his eye, an abrasion on his cheek, a cut finger and his eye was bloodshot due to large broken blood vessels, police said. When he was talking to police after the attack, the man received taunting texts and videos, the Jackson County District Attorney's Office said. Collins was ordered Wednesday to attend classes to help her deal with relationships. If she completes the classes, the fourth-degree assault conviction will be dismissed. She is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 28 on either the remaining disorderly conduct charge or disorderly conduct plus fourth-degree assault if she fails to complete the classes. Allyssa Bartholomew, Collins' defense attorney, said her client became upset when she found out her boyfriend had cheated on her, although she said that isn't an excuse for her behavior. Meanwhile, co-defendant Lindsey Shea Wright, 21, of the 200 block of Cottage Street in Medford has a plea hearing scheduled for July 10. She allegedly joined Collins in the attack and faces charges of third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. Wright allegedly hit the victim with her hands, tried to choke him and struck him with eggs, the affidavit said. "Ms. Wright admitted to hitting (the victim) with eggs.
