Young robbery suspect arrested Police have arrested a suspect in another of Medford's recent robberies. Thomas Gene Brummer, 15, of Medford has been arrested on charges of second-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was arrested in connection with the Gas-4-Less robbery at 2232 Biddle Road in the early morning of Dec. 8. In that case, a robber demanded money from a gas station attendant, and though he said he was armed, no weapon was seen. The robber got into the passenger side of a waiting car and was driven away. Additional arrests are pending, Medford police Lt. Tim George said. He said the case is not connected to the string of recent robberies in the area. Brummer's car theft charge involves the theft of a 1983 Cadillac from the 100 block of Jeanette Street in Medford. He's being held in the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center.
