Kathryn Marion Alger (Wright) Dec 11, 2017 12:00 AM A A June 28, 1950 - November 30, 2017 Kathy passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her home in Rogue River, Oregon. Kathy was born June 28, 1950, the daughter of Lawrence and Norma Wright. Kathy grew up with 12 siblings on a small family farm in Shelburne, Vermont. After falling in love with Steven Alger, together they moved to Oregon, and were married June 6, 1973. Over the course of her life she lived in Burlington, Vt.; North Bend, Ore.; Happy Camp, California; Medford, Ore.; Yreka, Calif.; and Rogue River, Ore. Kathy lived a beautiful life, devoted to her faith and love for her family. Kathy is survived by her children, Kevin and Hannah Alger and Stacey and James Grondorf; step-daughters, Tammy Morin and Kelly Alger. She had five grandchildren who loved and cherished her very much. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
