County Commissioner Sue Kupillas and challenger Sue Densmore and House candidates Peter Buckley and Judy Uherbelau will appear from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ashland Elks Club, 255 E. Main St. Lunch is $7. The meeting is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Ashland. A forum also is set at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ruch Library, 7919 Highway 238. Densmore, Kupillas, Buckley and Uherbelau will appear there, as will Democrat Richard Koopmans, who is running against Central Point Rep. Dennis Richardson, a Republican, for the House District 4 seat; Republican Jim Wright, who is opposing Ashland Rep. Alan Bates in Senate District 3; and Republican Joanna Lofaso, who will oppose either Buckley or Uherbelau in the November general election. Also, Kupillas and Densmore will appear on Rogue Valley Community Television from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27. Buckley and Uherbelau will appear on RVTV from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 29.
