Donna Jean Cunningham MailTribune.com Writer Posted Sep. 16, 2014 @ 2:00 am Updated at 8:47 PM Posted Sep. 16, 2014 @ 2:00 am Updated at 8:47 PM » Social News Oct. 5, 1932 - Sept. 11, 2014 Donna was born, along with a twin sister Donis, to Rebecca Hart Dexter and Fred Dexter in Chiloquin, Ore. October 5, 1932. Donna Dexter married Cecil Dale Cunningham September 22, 1957 in Reno, Nev. As a young married couple they moved from Klamath Falls, where they met, to Ashland. Living there for many years and raising their boys until they moved to their Phoenix home, a few years ago. Donna is survived by husband, Dale; sons, John Watier (Elaine), Joe, Jeff, and Jim (Nadine); grandchildren, Karie Watier Allen, Karley, Emily, Chelsea, Carissa, Ryan, Tahnee, Amber, Tayler, and Brandon; great-grandson Kellan Seala, and great-granddaughters, Ainsley Allen and Hannah Cunningham; sister, Nancy Michaelis, brothers, Quentin and Marshall Dexter, and many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruby, Dorothy, Bonnie, and her twin sister Donis; brothers, Woodbert, Walt, Johnny, and Donald and a granddaughter, Kristin Watier. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Christian Church of Ashland, 318 B St. Followed by a get-together in Medford at John and Elaine's.
