Having your former boss find out and then publicly blast you for it just makes everything worse. On Friday, the Family Research Council posted a statement on their homepage about Josh Duggar's recently discovered cheating heart . Duggar worked for the anti-gay FRC until May of this year, when he resigned after it was discovered he'd molested a bunch of young women, including his own sisters. Then, earlier this week, it came to light that the father of four had a paid account with affair-facilitating site Ashley Madison. Josh Duggar admits to cheating: "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever" The statement on the FRC website reads: "Last night we learned from online reports about allegations concerning Josh Duggar and then read his confession today. We are grieved by Josh's conduct and the devastating impact of his pornography addiction and marital unfaithfulness. Our hearts hurt for his family, and all those affected by Josh's actions. His deceitful behavior harms his family, his friends, his former coworkers, and the cause he has publicly espoused. Those of us who advocate for family values in the public square are held to a higher standard, and Josh's failures serve as a painful reminder of the destructive effects of not living with integrity. We are praying for the family." Conversely, when the news broke in May that Duggar was a repeat child molester, the FRC took a subdued stance, writing , "Today Josh Duggar made the decision to resign his position as a result of previously unknown information becoming public concerning events that occurred during his teenage years. Josh believes that the situation will make it difficult for him to be effective in his current work. We believe this is the best decision for Josh and his family at this time. We will be praying for everyone involved." So, to recap: Cheating is worse than molesting children, but nothing is worse than being gay, because that destroys the sanctity of marriage and family values. TLC cancels 19 Kids & Counting amidst molestation scandal Speaking of the sanctity of marriage, People reports Anna Duggar -- Josh's wife and the mother of their four children -- is not going to incur the wrath of God by leaving her molesting, cheating spouse. "Anna will not leave him," the source told People. "As with her in-laws, she is turning more to her faith than ever. She and Josh are probably praying around the clock right now, I would assume." The source also suggests Anna will find a way to blame herself for all of this: "Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him."
