September 18. 2014 1:40PM Volunteers needed for Downtown Art + Sound The Downtown Art + Sound festival kicks off tomorrow in downtown Medford, and organizers are seeking volunteers to work the box office, doors and other key positions throughout the two-day event. The Downtown Art + Sound festival kicks off tomorrow in downtown Medford, and organizers are seeking volunteers to work the box office, doors and other key positions throughout the two-day event. Each volunteer will receive a two-day pass for covering a volunteer position which typically lasts only four hours. Those interested should go to Downtown Art + Sound for information and to fill out an application. A festival volunteer coordinator will confirm your shift. Interested in all play and no work? Advance festival passes are available for a reduced price until midnight Thursday, Sept. 18. You can also attend individual events for a modest cover fee, but a festival pass is definitely the way to go if you want to experience all of Downtown Art + Sound. Advance tickets are available at www.downtownartandsound.com and Limestone Coffee in Medford, Music Coop in Ashland and Listen Here in Grants Pass.
