CRIME Man caught after allegedly stealing 15 pairs of Jordan shorts MailTribune.com Writer Posted Oct. 9, 2014 @ 3:36 pm Posted Oct. 9, 2014 @ 3:36 pm » Social News Police tracked down a man wanted on a warrant for theft charges Wednesday after he allegedly swiped 15 pairs of Jordan shorts from the Rogue Valley Mall Foot Locker. Bryan Anthony Rahn, 31, remains in the Jackson County Jail today without bail on charges of first- and second-degree theft, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and providing false information to police. The incident was first reported at 5:06 p.m. Authorities allege Rahn swiped the 15 pairs of shorts — valued at about $50 apiece — then fled. Using a license plate number on the vehicle he drove and a suspect description, police tracked him to a home in the 2100 block of Roberts Road. Officers found him at about 7 p.m., wearing a pair of the snatched shorts, police said. Rahn gave police a false name at first, but was eventually arrested after officers determined his true identity. Seven of the 15 pairs of shorts were recovered. Investigators believe he sold or gave away the other eight pairs, according to a release.
