No other information was available.   9:50 a.m. Police from at least two agencies are on the hunt for a 21-year-old who fled from the Medford foster care facility where he was staying, and may be hitchhiking to Grants Pass. Medford police Sgt. Jason Antley said Dakota Jackson, left the facility, located in the 1900 block of Bristol Drive, early today. Video surveillance shows him leaving at about 3 a.m., but he was not discovered missing until 7:30 a.m. Bristol Drive is off Lone Pine Road, near North Medford High School. Medford police and Oregon State Police are both searching for him in a widespread search in the city and nearby Interstate 5.  "It sounds like he frequents the downtown Medford area and might be on his way to Grants Pass," Antley said. A Medford police Facebook post says Jackson has "diminished mental capacity and has displayed concerning sexual behavior." It adds that, "His care providers are concerned that could act out sexually, in particular towards female juveniles."  "That's why it's all hands on deck right now," Budreau said, adding that Jackson is not officially listed as a sex offender.  Court records also show there are no felony convictions against Jackson in the state. Jackson is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches, with a medium build. He has dark hair and eyes, is wearing a Thrasher brand ball hat, a black concert t-shirt with yellow designs on it, black shoes, and black skinny cutoff jeans. He also has a tattoo of a guitar in flames on one of his shoulders.  Anyone with information should call 911.  Reach reporter Ryan Pfeil at 541-776-4468 or [email protected] .
