The play by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee recounts the time Henry David Thoreau was jailed for refusing to pay taxes in protest of the Mexican-American War. Thoreau wrote about the incident in his "Civil Disobedience" essay. Shows are at 7 p.m. Nov. 12-15 at the Crater Performing Arts Center, 655 N. Third St., Central Point. Tickets, which are available at the door, cost $5 for students and seniors or $7 for adults.
