November 12. 2014 4:51PM Omar's chef wins top prize at culinary festival James Williams from Omar’s Restaurant & Bar took the Top Chef 2014 title at the eighth annual Ashland Culinary Festival. His winning dish, incorporating the secret key ingredient of pork rack provided by Willow Witt Farms in Ashland, scored 293 points out of 300 possible points, festival organizers said. Round one winner was Will Shine of Martino’s. Round two winner was James Williams of Omar’s. Round three winner was Stefano Cipollone of Belle Fiore Winery. The wild card chef with the next highest score in the three preliminary rounds was Dustin Farley of Porter’s. Judges were Mary Shaw, Fabiola Donnelly and Cory Schreiber.
