Truesdell, Medford, Ore. passed away peacefully at home with family & caregivers, November 15, 2014 at the age of 93. She was born February 26, 1921 in Centralia, Wash. Dorothy grew up in Centralia, Wash. where she met her husband and started their life together. She retired from KMart in Medford, Ore. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 76 years, Edward L. Truesdell; children, Kenneth E. Truesdell, Tacoma, Wash., Cynthia L. Truesdell, Central Point, Ore., and Debra L. Truesdell, Medford, Ore.; sister, Mary L. Primm of Chehalis, Wash.; brother, Joseph D. Southwick of Yuma, Ariz; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and several neices and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence E. Truesdell, and one grandchild, both of whom passed in 1991. No services will be held. The family would like to thank Providence Hospice, who cared for Dorothy. Donations in her name can be made to Providence Hospice, P.O. Box 4548, Medford, OR 97501.
