In response to neighbor’s complaints about drug sales, officers swept through west Medford Thursday, arresting people on warrants charging them with delivering methamphetamines, often near schools. Investigators set up undercover sales in recent months to gather evidence for the operation. Police targeted 23 people and arrested a dozen of them in Thursday morning’s effort. Five others were arrested later and a few had been arrested previously, police records show. The first suspects appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court on Friday. Kendall Ira Faulkner, 43; William Earl Simpson, 42; Ian Baird Campbell, 24; Rachel Ann Saylor, 26; and Mandron Alfred Coulter, 26, all pleaded not guilty to charges of selling amphetamines within 1,000 feet of a school. All remained lodged Tuesday in Jackson County Jail. Trixie Cherokee Goff, 25; Frank Anthony Saenz, 37; and Larry Dean Harper, 53, pleaded not guilty Friday to charges of delivery of amphetamines. They remained in jail Tuesday. On Monday, Andrew William Long, 24; and Florence Alenabell Smith, 43; pleaded not guilty. They remained in jail Tuesday. Advertisement Other arraignments are scheduled in coming weeks. Johnny "Dread" Stafford, 47; Franklin Martinez, 48; Sandra Lou Wirt, 48; and Amanda Krug, 28; are set to appear in court Friday. They all were released from jail Monday. Luis Ruiz Valdez, 39, was released from jail Tuesday and is set for arraignment Dec. 23. Wesley Palmer Flitton, 24; and Richard William Schroeder, 38; were released from jail last Friday and are set to return to court Jan. 13.
