Phoenix diaper drive set for Dec. 10 Friday Dec 2, 2016 at 10:37 AM Dec 2, 2016 at 2:14 PM Phoenix Food Project's Desperate for Diapers Drive will be part of Green Bag Day Saturday, Dec. 10. Diapers of all sizes are needed, but especially baby diapers. Kids cannot be left at day care without a full-day's supply of diapers, and cloth diapers have become luxury items for many families, according to a press release from the Phoenix Food Project. Medicare and SNAP do not pay for diapers, it said. Donations of diapers may be brought to the Phoenix Community Center at First Presbyterian Church, Second and Church streets, Phoenix, before noon Dec. 10.
