Clean water is an everyday necessity, yet not readily available to all. Current water
filtration technologies are too expensive for developing nations and still don't
adequately remove all pollutants that are harmful and sometimes lethal.
That's why Hebrew University is pioneering research to develop better, more efficient
and affordable clean-water technologies. HU scientists are creating custom-tailored
clay sorbents (materials used to absorb liquids) that can target specific pollutants
more effectively.
Thanks to the discoveries made at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, one day, clean
drinking water may be accessible around the world! That's great news, especially as we

We invite you to learn more about how Hebrew University's research is improving lives
— and to make a gift to AFHU to enable additional agricultural advancements.
