Dear Richard,
Here is =he breakdown for the $100,000 that Jeffrey is giving me for my 70th Birthday:

2. $15,000 went to Elton John'= AIDS Foundation, which you paid directly, enabling me to attend a
=arty at his house in June.
3. $20,000 deposit for Stark =arpet in my apartment. I paid the bill and we need to be =eimbursed.
4. Total expenditure so far is $65,000.

6. There is $15,000 that is to be =etermined.
I am very sorry for any mix up from my office and for any =dditional billing they mistakenly sent you
without my knowledge.
xoxo,

Dear Jeffrey,
My third and final birthday =oiree, hosted by Adam & Amalia Lindemann at their

People like Bruce Weber, =ick Cavett, Julian Schnabel, Blythe Danner, and

I am sending by email my booklet. = will mail you some copies on Monday. It
has a bright pink cover with a =hoto of me and a big bow. Tell me where to send them, you can give them =ut to all of

I just bought an amazing brown =nd beige leopard rug that is wall to wall
carpeting for my whole =partment and being made in France. I probably won't have it for = months, but Stark is putting
in a temporary floor covering until it =omes. The total price is $39,123. Stark wants a 50% deposit, which is =19,561.50.
Do you want to pay Stark directly or do you want to send me =he deposit? Either way is fine.
When the apartment gets done, =ou're my first visitor.
I'm going to Nantucket on =epe's boat this weekend. I'll be back on Monday.
Hope =ou're well. Please tell me what you think of the new birthday =ooklet.

Dear =effrey,
As you know, I =m in the South of France finishing up the last leg of my three

Will be home on =riday, July 14th. Going straight to Southampton for the final

What was originally to be a dinner for 30 I play tennis with, =as grown into a
mini event for 70 friends.
I've been working hard on organizing this for three =eeks from Europe with my
office, the caterer, and the florist. I think =t's going to be sensation and I am very =xcited.
I have enclosed =he invitation, the latest guest list, the bill from the caterer and
the =ill from the florist/party designer.
As you can see, the total is approx. $30k. What I am planning =o do with the rest
of your 100k gift (minus the 15k for Elton John) is =se it for the renovation of my apartment. Will give you further details
