Dear Eric,
Many thanks for your message. As it happens your itinerary looks extremely good, though may I suggest you give some
thought to having lunch on Friday at the Kasbah Bab Ourika (see www.kasbahbabourika.com
<http://www.kasbahbabourika.com> ).
It's only a 40 minute drive from the Mamounia, but it will give you a taste of the 'real' Morocco, as the view from the
terrace over the Ourika Valley and up to the Atlas is truly spectacular. The only caveat is that if for any reason it's a
cloudy day (highly unlikely), then it's not worth doing.
The other suggestion might be to swap the dinner reservation at the Mamounia on Friday to the Royal Mansour at their
fabulous restaurant La Grande Table Marocaine and have tea at the Mamounia instead.
My local number in Morocco is So do feel free to call that at anytime if you need advice on the spur
of the moment.
Finally a great friend of mine Sarah Richter who has owned a house in Marrakech compiled a really good website with
suggestions which I heartily recommend, see

With best wishes,

Jeffrey - thank you for the introduction.
Good evening Mark-
We (Myself, my wife, my oldest daughter and her boyfriend) are going to visit our daughter who is currently
studying abroad in Barcelona.
Aside from Madrid and Barcelona, we will be visiting Marrakesh for a couple of days (March 7th — 9th) and when
I asked Jeffrey about safety, sightseeing, hotels and restaurants, he said Mark Lloyd is "the guy" for all things Marrakesh

Below is our itinerary and we would appreciate any insight, tips, suggestions you may share as we desire a safe
and memorable experience.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
