Barranquilla stands out as a key economic driver
in Colombia, with a gross domestic product (GDP) per capita of approximately COP $38.5 million (Columbian pesos) per inhabitant ($9,447), calculated based on a projected population of 1,279,120 inhabitants for 2024 – well above the regional average.
