visualized industrial decarbonization and
infrastructure co-dependence to support
system-wide energy transition planning. The
Amazon Environment used AI-generated
art, music and narrative to explore Amazonian
preservation and cultural storytelling
–Stakeholder Campus – virtual headquarters for
partners to host meetings, launch pavilions and
showcase innovation. –Next-Gen Expansion – AR-enhanced and AI-
supported spaces introduced in 2025 to extend
use across devices and contexts. The Airports
of Tomorrow Experience (part of GCV Next-
Gen) simulated future climate risks on aviation
infrastructure, enabling collaborative scenario
planning in AR.
1.2 User needs
The Village identified several persistent coordination
and engagement challenges faced by global stakeholders. Below is a summary of common pain
points and how the platform responded:
Challenge How the Village responded
Travel burden Let participants join in real time without needing to travel
Information overload Delivered focused, high-retention content in purpose-built environments
Fragmented messaging
and collaborationUnified narratives and connected stakeholders across initiatives to support more efficient collaboration
Lack of emotional
engagementUsed immersive storytelling to foster empathy and connection
Dense or abstract
contentHelped participants grasp complexity through interactive simulations
Passive 2D interaction Replaced static viewing with embodied, exploratory engagement
