--> --> Forum planned for commissioner candidates Ashland Daily Tidings Citizens and students will have the chance to meet and greet County Commissioners Jack Walker and Ric Holt, along with commissioner candidates John Hallett, and Dr. David Gilmour. Gilmour is challenging sitting commissioner Ric Holt, while Hallett is running against Walker in the current election. The Candidate's Fair is being hosted by the Associated Students of Southern Oregon University, the public is invited, and the event is free. The event starts at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Stevenson Union foyer, and will be followed at 1:00 p.m. by a two-hour County Commissioner Forum hosted by ASSOU and The Young Democrats of Southern Oregon. That event also takes place in the Stevenson Union, Room 330. Walker, Holt, Hallett and Gilmour are slated to be on hand to take moderated questions, before the floor is opened for public questions.
