A man was transported to Ashland Community Hospital with injuries. Sunday 10:20 a.m. — Spray paint graffiti found on two Southern Oregon Head Start buses, 400 block of Walker Avenue. The vandalism occurred between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Sunday morning — MP3 player ($280 value) and $10 cash stolen from an unlocked vehicle, 100 block of Seventh Street. Sunday 2:30 a.m. — Purse stolen from Vinyl Club, 100 block of Will Dodge Way. The purse held a cell phone ($260 value), $30 cash, keys, a driver’s license and credit and debit cards. Saturday afternoon — Diabetic insulin pump ($5,500 value) stolen from cubbyhole at Ashland Family YMCA between 3:30 and 5 p.m., 500 block of YMCA Way. Saturday 12:30 p.m. — Man reported being chased by an acquaintance with a knife. The acquaintance threatened to kill him and threw rocks at him during the pursuit, which started on A Street near Railroad Park and ended on Carol Street near Patterson Street. Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect. Saturday 9:49 a.m. — Graffiti found on phone booths in the Plaza. Saturday 9:44 a.m. — Graffiti found on electrical boxes behind City Hall, 00 block of East Main Street.
