She was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and for reckless driving. 8:51 a.m. Sunday - Report from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department of a burglary of a business on the 7900 block of Hyatt Prairie Road. 7:55 a.m. Sunday - A male transient 38, was arrested after placing construction cones in the middle of the road on Gresham at East Main Street. 2:54 a.m. Sunday - An officer pulled over a car on Highway 99 at Jackson Road for a vehicle violation. The driver, an Ashland man, 18, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. As he was being taken into custody, the man tried to flee and physically assaulted the officer. The officer received an injury to his right hand. The man was also charged with resisting arrest and assaulting an officer and taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford. Midnight Sunday - Unknown persons stole a 15.5 gallon keg of beer valued at $213 from the 300 block of Norton Street.
