(Crowson) McKenzie, 76, died Jan. 26, 2005 in Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was born October 7, 1928 in Ashland. She played trumpet in her school band, and raised farm animals. In 1956 she moved to Martinez, CA, where she worked for 20 years at United Grocers in Richmond. She and her husband were active in Lock-N-Spurs square dance club, as well as Girl Scouts & Martinez Little Theater. She also enjoyed camping with her children. In 1992 she moved to Sonora, CA and was active in the Sonora Elks Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading, watching old movies, Arts, Crafts, painting, playing games with her grandchildren and raising small dogs. She is survived by her daughters: Linda McKenzie, Shelly Hance & (Hart Drobish) both of Columbia, CA, Son; Dennis & (Barbara) McKenzie of Pittsburg, CA. Three grandchildren; Brandon & Christopher McKenzie & Allison Drobish. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002. Family, friends and pets were her great joys in life.
