--> --> The new library: `Rooms with a view' Excitement is building as we prepare to open the doors to the new library expansion. The library staff wants to thank all those who helped us reach this point, from dreams, to elections, to construction and now moving in. We thank those who helped make the transition and move go so smoothly. The public has been patient and supportive amidst the noise and inconvenience of construction. Adroit Construction has done a wonderful job working around (and through) us, doing excellent work while keeping us in business. And a Big Thank You to all the volunteers who moved the books, opened the boxes, dusted the shelves, then moved more books. And they did it all so cheerfully. We appreciate their dedicated efforts (and the cherries and brownies they brought). We open the library addition to the community Monday, July 22. Construction will continue on the Carnegie as it is restored and readied to become the Children's Library. Please come and visit us, enjoy your library and the beautiful "Rooms with A View."
