--> --> Thanks to all at folk concert The 2000-2001 Eclectic Music and More series of 14 folk and ethnic concerts which began in September at the Unitarian Center ended May 11. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people in the community that make the series a success. Thank you to the 24 businesses that took out advertisements in the season program, especially the Ashland Community Food Store that became the series first sponsor. Many community members volunteer at the performances, including Karen, Steven, and Branden Good, Beth Miller, Marie Hebert, Joanne Navickas, Daniel Mather, Elinor Berman, Jonnie Dale Lieberman, Leslie Lightfall, Edie Berry, Rob and Linda Joseph, and Ron and Tracy Bass. In addition, Pat Haley and Claudia Steinbroner, advisors, and the teens of the Unitarian Senior Youth Group sold refreshments, a big addition to the atmosphere at the concerts. David Goodwin is the saint that designs my flyers. Pamela Weber is the angel that posts them everywhere. Geppetto's Restaurant feeds dinner to all the musicians, making my job as hostess just a bit easier. Thank you also to the Woods House and Colonel Silsby's bed and breakfasts for housing some of the musicians and to the community members who offered their houses. I am really grateful to CD or Not CD and Talent House Music and Books for selling tickets. Cabin Fever Sound, Crystal Reeves and Peter Spring provided sound reinforcement. Lastly, I would like to thank the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship which continues to make their facility available to musicians at a reasonable rate.
