Rabkin but denied his request to be reinstated as head of Oregon Health & Science University's liver transplant program, saying rancor in the program runs too deep. Rabkin, who had run the program since 1991, claimed in a lawsuit in June that he was demoted for questioning the competence of a colleague, and that OHSU failed to act on his concerns.
