The complete all-state list won't in The Oregonian until next week, but Tiaa Toutou and Garcia-Flores are believed to be Ashland's only representatives. Tiaa Toutou, who's coached the Grizzlies for the past seven years, led Ashland to the state semifinals for the second time in his tenure last season. He was humbled by the award. "It's great," he said. "I can't take responsibility for coaching them because I think there's a lot of people on it - the people of Ashland, the soccer club, the school district. These are the people who lay the ground for soccer to develop. Without those people, there wouldn't be recognitions for me doing anything." Tiaa Toutou can put the award next to the other big one he got this year: the Southern Oregon Conference coach of the year award. That came after he led the Grizzlies to a 10-2 SOC mark, good enough to capture the league title. Garcia-Flores' all-state nod also came on the heels of a top SOC honor. The senior forward was voted the league's player of the year. "He's a great kid, a humble kid and he deserves it," Tiaa Toutou said.
