Appearing on the red carpet for her new film Serena, the actress, who portrayed the mutant Mystique in both First Class and Days of Future Past , said the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse will be her final appearance in the role. "It is my last one, actually," she said, with no further explanation. Fall TV Scorecard: What's returning? What's canceled? As sad as this is, we all knew this day would come, right? You can't expect a magical creature such as Lawrence to stick around forever. Plus, the film just cast Cyclops ( Tye Sheridan ), Storm ( Alexandra Shipp ) and Jean Grey ( Game of Thrones ' Sophie Turner ), which could mean there's a new era coming. Or maybe this is the end of the road for the X-Men franchise? The word apocalypse does sound rather final, does it not? X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled to hit theaters May 27, 2016. What do you think?
