Ashland Police and Fire 1:01 a.m. Friday - One adult, four minors, and three juveniles cited for minor in possession of alcohol after officers responded to a complaint of a loud party, 700 block Elkader Street. Charges pending against a 21-year-old male resident for providing liquor to minors. 11:35 p.m. Thursday - Two Ashland males, both 18, cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol, Ashland Plaza. 9:23 p.m. Thursday - Transient male, 22, cited for failure to leash dog, Pioneer and East Main streets. 4:06 p.m. Thursday - Female juvenile cited and released for shoplifting journal valued at $14.75, 30 block N. Main Street. 2:54 p.m. Thursday - Transient male, 20, cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Bridge Street under Water Street. 1:13 p.m. Thursday - Citizen detained an intoxicated driver who had stopped at the weigh station, Highway 66 and Dead Indian Memorial Road. Driver arrested and lodged in Jackson County Jail. 12:11 p.m. Thursday - Fan of freezer unit jammed with a stick causing compressor to burn out, 200 block East Main Street. Cost to repair freezer: $250. Cost of spoiled meat: $50. Talent Police Department 6:48 p.m. Thursday - Talent male, 20, arrested for disorderly conduct and menacing with a gun, 200 block Rapp Road. Phoenix Police Department 11:45 p.m. Thursday - Phoenix female, 25, cited for DUII, Rose and Fifth streets, following a traffic stop. Subject released to a sober adult. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 3:07 p.m. Thursday - Engine compartment car fire extinguished, Interstate 5, milepost 22, southbound lane.
