Police reports, July 28-31 Monday Jul 31, 2017 at 7:17 PM Jul 31, 2017 at 7:17 PM Local report Friday, 12:10 a.m. — Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 300 block of Orange Avenue.  Friday, 8:15 a.m. — Police investigated a theft report in the 500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard and arrested a man for stealing three bags of cans and bottles. Friday, 12:31 p.m. — Police found a lost bike in the 300 block of East Main street.  Friday, 12:37 p.m. — Police lodged a man for leaving a restaurant in the 200 block of East Main Street without paying. Friday, 3:24 p.m. — Police cited a man for violating open container laws in the first block of North Main Street. Friday, 4:53 p.m. — Police found property in the first block of Winburn Way. Friday, 6:25 p.m. — Police arrested a man for disorderly conduct after he and another subject got in a physical fight at the intersection of B and Oak streets. Friday, 10:41 p.m. — Police took a man into protective custody in the 1900 block of Crestview Drive.  Saturday, 1:09 a.m. — Police arrested a man in the 2300 block of Ashland Street on disorderly conduct and harassment charges.  Saturday, 1:33 a.m. — Police arrested a man on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.  Saturday, 3:02 a.m. — Police took a missing persons report in the 1700 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Saturday, 7:43 a.m. — Police took a report of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Maple Street. Saturday, 9:08 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a stolen bicycle in the 300 block of Engle Street. Saturday, 9:38 a.m. — Police cited a man for prohibited camping in the 100 block of Granite Stret.  Saturday, 1:05 p.m. — Police found property in the first block of North Main Street. Saturday, 2:18 p.m. — Police cited a man for public urination in the first block of East Main Street.  Saturday, 3:14 p.m. — Police found property in the 2100 block of Birchwood Lane. Saturday, 10:29 p.m. — Police arrested a man on charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault and harassment in the 100 block of North main Street. Saturday, 11:22 p.m. — Police took a report of a stolen vehicle in the first block of Bush Street. Saturday, 11:54 p.m. — Police investigated a drug law violation in the 2200 block of Ashland Street. Sunday, 3:53 a.m. — Police cited three people prohibited camping in the 100 block of North Main Street. One was lodged in the jail for criminal trespass and interfering with a police officer. Sunday, 6:15 a.m. — Police found property in the first block of North Main Street. Sunday, 11:25 a.m. — Police arrested a man in the 2300 block of Ashland Street on a detention warrant and a theft charge. He was lodged. Sunday, 12:35 p.m. — Police cited two men and a woman for public marijuana use in the first block of Water Street. Sunday, 1:06 p.m. — Police arrested a woman for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 while working as a cashier at the Ashland Food Co-op and possession of heroin. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. Sunday, 5:21 p.m. — Police cited a man for violating open container laws in the 100 block of Lithia Way. Sunday, 8:07 p.m. — A bicycle crash in the 400 block of Helman Street led to a driving under the influence arrest. Monday, 1:01 a.m. — Police arrested a man at the intersection of Fourth and East main streets on several outstanding warrants. Monday, 2:55 a.m. — A subject stop in the 200 block of Water Street led to a warrant arrest.
