ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 1:16 a.m. Thursday - Theft two, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 00 block of Walker Street, adult male lodged in Jackson County Jail after he entered and attempted to steal a parked car, complainant witnessed crime but suspect fled, complainant later saw suspect again and contacted police. 10 p.m. Friday - Criminal mischief two, 700 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, unknown suspects broke sign in front of church, $500 in damages, no suspects or leads. 9:46 a.m. Saturday - Criminal mischief, 200 block of Pioneer Street, unknown individuals threw two separate rocks through separate panels of glass on the south side of the Umpqua Bank, $1,650 in damages. 8 p.m. Saturday - Theft two, 400 block of Clay Street, transient female stole $600 worth of items from resident, cited and released. 12:29 p.m. Sunday - Assault four, corner of East Main and Pioneer Street, a male was assaulted but was unable to identify the suspects, no leads.
