Some may extend sales inside the stores. The sale runs from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The sale is a great family oriented spring event, said Dana Preston, membership development manager at the Ashland Chamber of Commerce, adding that downtown Ashland isn’t only for theater goers; there’s also a number of children’s stores. “It creates a warm and fun environment for people wanting to check out what our downtown has to offer,” Preston said. “It’s a great shopping opportunity for the turn of the season, also.” Preston also recommended getting downtown early to shop in order to find a good parking space.
