That is the image our new Attorney General - our minority President's most disgraceful appointment possibly, though his administration has selected a bunch of rogues that give keen competition - seeks by announcing that family members of the people killed in McVeigh's bombing of the Oklahma City Federal Building will be given a choice video show, a closed circuit viewing of the execution of McVeigh. It is more in keeping with his record to say that the repute of Ashcroft is based more on his hatred of black African Americans, of women who feel they are entitled to abortion if they wish, and generally of democratic open-mindedness. Ashcroft distances himself from McVeigh. Were not both of them spawned from the same ideology based on fear and hatred of other nations and races, of human diversity, of any "ism" except Americanism? Where did McVeigh learn to fancy himself as a real life Rambo, a ruthless exterminator of the betrayers of virile America, but at the same school where Ashcroft learned hypocrisy about justice and victims' rights?
