A Talent man, 34, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. 9:35 p.m. Thursday - Male transient, 55, arrested at the Hillside Inn on Siskiyou Boulevard after he allegedly threw a full glass of beer at a known adult female, striking her in the left eye. The female suffered a half-dollar sized bump where the glass struck her. The man was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. 9:30 a.m. Thursday - Several street closed signs and cones thrown into Lithia Creek on Granite Street and Grandview Drive. The signs were being used for road closures due to watershed logging. - Ashland Police & Fire 9:49 p.m. Thursday - Talent man, 42, taken to detox on the 100 block of Highway 99. 4:30 p.m. Thursday - Two-vehicle accident on Foss Road in Talent.
