Hull, recognized for her work on the department's You Have Options program, accepted the award at the annual EVAWI conference.  According to a statement issued by EVAWI, Hull was honored "for your driving force behind the department's 'You Have Options' program, which established a wide range of uniform procedures for victims of sexual assaults to provide information to law enforcement. The procedures are designed to be explicitly victim-centered and  based in an understanding of trauma and the impact on disclosure. Equally important are the innovative strategies designed to assist in the identification and prosecution of serial offenders."
