--> --> July 12: Pilots pummeled Ashland Daily Tidings CLACKAMAS - The Ashland Pilots suffered a 16-3 loss to Clackamas in the first round of the Diamond Classic on Thursday. The Pilots, the only A squad competing in the predominantly AAA tournament, fell behind 7-0 in the second inning and never recovered. Bill Rowe provided one of the Pilots' few bright spots when he blasted his 10th home run of the season in the third inning. The solo shot cut the deficit to 7-3, but the host squad tacked on one run in the fourth, two in the fifth, two in the sixth and four in the seventh. Email your...
