Police later cited a female transient, 38, for the theft and arrested her on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge in Grants Pass. She was taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford. o 4:20 p.m. Tuesday - Medford man, 30, turned himself in to police on Siskiyou Boulevard at Harmony Lane and admitted to stealing a Jeep and another vehicle in Medford. The man was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. o 12:42 p.m. Tuesday - A 1997 Jeep Wrangler reported missing on Monday from a Brooks Lane residence was recovered by a U.S. Forest Service officer at milepost 11.8 on Tolman Creek Road. o 9:15 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person entered an unlocked Isuzu Stylus at the intersection of Abbot at Tolman Creek Road and attempted to steal the vehicle by forcing the ignition with a screwdriver-type instrument. The person was unsuccessful, but caused $300 damage to the ignition and $150 to a passenger window.
